NV Quevedo Ruby

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

This is a reliably drinkable ruby Port, full of fruit with a hint of tannin. But what was different about this tasting was that everyone around the table was given a finger of Billington's Gingerbread - you dunk the gingerbread in the ruby Port and then eat the gingerbread. The Port creates an explosion of ginger on the palate, the combination is amazing! Now I am trying to find out where to buy Billington Gingerbread!! 87/100. Pop and pour.
Dunking done on 28-Mar-2025.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
