Color: Light Orange - Yellow, Rim: None, Meniscus: Light Yellow, Weight (Viscosity): Medium, Nose: Burnt Sugar, Butterscotch, Light hint of Honey, Peaches, Rich, Vanilla, Taste: Light touch of Butterscotch, Oranges throughout, but especially on the long finish, Acidity: Medium, Mid-palate, Late, Tannins: Very, very Light and well integrated, Mid-palate, Late, Sweetness Level: Little, Late, Finish: Very Long, Other Notes: Bottled 2023, Pop and Pour, Long, thick tears on the side of the glass, Tasted 05/22/2025.

DR makes such great aged Tawnies and Whites. This White is just another example. It's a nice sipping White that's smooth with a very long aftertaste. Everything is completely integrated. The acidity and sweetness (it leans more to the drier side for me) are perfectly matched and I can't think of a better 20 year-old white out there except maybe the S. Leonardo? 93 points
