2003 Berry Brothers

De la Rosa produced. Deep and opaque red colour. Attractive nose of blackcurrants. Harshly acidic into the mouth - although the fruit is present the wine is not in balance. Aftertaste is short. Not an attractive wine to my taste at this showing. 82/100. Drunk 30 November 2006.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
