1994 Quinta do Crasto vintage port

Deep red, still in primary development. On the nose the primary phase very clear with lots of blackcurrant fruits coming through. Sweet entry, vanilla overtones on top of layers of blackcurrant fruit juice. No tannins coming through. Length of aftertaste is quite short and disappointing. 88/100. Drunk on 4/10/06.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
