2004 Quinta da Romaneira

Purple and opaque. Very open blueberry nose. Sweet and fruity entry, slight bitter note in the start of the midpalate - perhaps from a touch too much acidity - tannins are not too aggressive. Aftertaste is huge and very long. 92/100. Tasted 6/10/06 after 1 hour in the decanter.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
