1995 Ramos Pinto LBV

Post by benread »

Decanted at 7.30am and first glass consumed at 10pm.

This is a very dark red in the glass with little translucency. The nose is quite spicy with a hint of fruit but to taste there is much more to this. Cherries stand out. It also has quite a long finish in the mout.

Another example of why LBV should always be unfiltered and can be great value for money.

As I am out Monday night, this will not be approached again until Tuesday at the earliest....
