NV Warre Otima 20YO Tawny (Bottled 2008)

Post by RonnieRoots » 07:35 Sun 22 Mar 2009

Bottled in 2008.

The colour and legs are best described by KillerB in this thread.

Thick nose, full of raisins and molasses. Fairly sweet tasting, with dried lemon, bitter almonds, molasses. Mouthfilling finish of sultana and butterscotch chocolate.

This is actually a bit too big and good to serve as a chilled summer port. I'd rather use the 10YO for that but this will have to do, in absence of that. Therefore, enjoyed slightly chilled, with a good cuban sigar. Very nice, but an awful combination.
