Applying the same editorial logic which previously moved Taylor to 10th place has now moved Taylor to 5th place. (Taylor, as a shipper, includes any bottles of Vargellas single quinta ports that I own; Smith Woodhouse includes Madalena single quinta, etc.)

Looking through my cellar stocks for inspiration: not Churchill. Not Delaforce. Neither Infantado nor Magalhães. Definitely not Poças Júnior nor Portal. Let’s hope not Royal Oporto. Also eliminating Quevedo.

Maybe Niepoort. Maybe Offley. Probably not Ramos-Pinto. Sandeman very plausible.

So if none of the previous guesses, Martinez!

Always too late to guess my pick... first Taylor was taken, then Noval, then Croft, now Cockburn. I'm just too slow! (Morgan was also a good guess by DRT.)

So...

I'll take Niepoort, but somehow I doubt it is correct.

Ignoring Mr Wiseman's attempt to disguise several guesses into a single post, with the result that it only confused me, my list now becomes:

4)

6) Graham

17) Sandeman
18) Niepoort
666) Cruz

Nacional was included in with Noval, using the same sort of editorial logic as resulted in Vargellas being included in with Taylor; demonstrating a sad lack of Nacional in my cellar compared with other wines given that Noval is only at number 11.

Berry's I tend to drink as soon as I get my hands on them. I have none in my collection.

And now having made everyone read through all of the waffle, I will give the credit to Julian. It is Martinez who is the fourth most represented shipper in my cellar. Slightly surprising to me, but there's been a fair amount come onto the market recently which is ready for drinking and has been well priced.

Missing from the list are "Unknown" at 12=, Gonzalez Byass at 16, Offley at 19 and Rebello Valente at 20.

Julian's up.
