1963 Quinta do Noval Nacional vintage port

Deep red colour, almost as dark as the Noval 1931 shown alongside. Sour cherries on the nose. Exquisite entry, smooth and silky while also dry and tannic. A lovely core of ripe acidity and just massive in the mouth with huge levels of fruit and such amazing complexity. Just as huge and massive an aftertaste. Truly a phenomenal port. 100/100. Drunk 29 June 2009.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
