2003 Quevedo LBV

Deep red, opaque centre. Warm nose of strawberries and green wood. Silky into the mouth with big tannins and a great wave of fruit. Too young to show the full complexity that this might deliver, but this will be lovely and elegant. Quite delicious. 89/100. Drunk 26 June 2009.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
