1983 Offley Boa Vista

Post by DRT » 02:07 Sat 26 Sep 2009

Pop 'n' pour.

Very dark red. Vanilla nose - sightly stinky. NIce weight, good dark fruits with lots of tannin and very little heat. A little uncomposed but it has only been open for around 45 seconds

More later...

Vanilla and now strawberry on the nose. The stink has gone completely. Soft red fruits and a little flabby, which may just be because it is warm in the house this evening. Good strong tannins in the finish.

At the right price this is very good house port.
