Re: 1955 Warre
Very sweet - nice weight - a slight bitterness in the mid-palate and a very dry finish. I remember commenting that this wine was showing better condition that sme older Warre vintages I have tasted recently.

Re: 1955 Warre
Darl orange colour with lots of brown, 40% opaque. Closed and slightly harsh nose, not attractive. Harsh tone on the palate, with a woody edge, showing unbalanced and acidic. This is not right. Not rated.

"Spearmint" - nailed it. Spirity, fresh, and alive in the mouth. Not bad at all, but the nose is by far the best feature. 84 points.
Re: 1955 Warre
Color: 3rd darkest on the night. Not quite purple, but very dark red.
Nose: Some mustard.
Palate: Cherry, somewhat edgy. Almost like a cherry throat lozenge.
Finish: A bit hot. Decent length.
Score: 87 points
