S48, Decanted 160:00; first tasted about 19:15. Red, 60% opaque. Medium-full weight. Strawberry fruit. But later it had become duller: the ideal decanting time might be quite short.

20% opaque, deep orange in colour. Subdued on the nose, showing a little orange peel. Quite dry entry, light / medium bodied but develops very nicely on the palate to give reach medium bodied levels. Lovely orange peel aftertaste of modest length. 88/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
