S55, red, 60% opaque. Early-palate strawberries, slightly dry mid-palate. Not at all heavy.

60% opaque; a lovely mature red colour. Soft and gentle essence of concentrated mandarin orange on the nose. Very pleasing. Intensely flavoured entry; full of fruit and still some dry tannins. Big and burly. Dry fruity aftertaste, that gives way to a long dried cherry finish that also shows tannins. 91/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
