Superb evening - many thanks all.
A beautiful Dow 60 - in fact, i have had very few 60s, but i have been immensely impressed by all that i have had. I have definitely overlooked this vintage to date.
I really enjoyed the Warre 70, and the Ni 87 was showing extremely well also (but amazing to see almost all guesses for the Ni87 were of 60s/70s ports!).
The big suprise was the Fonseca 85, which was perfectly pleasant to drink but did not live up to its stellar reputation.
NB I am definitely owed an extra point on the guessing game!

A terrific evening, great company and an extremely attractive Dow 1960. Many thanks to Ben for bringing it.

Because if you look at the sheet, my first three guesses accumulated me 4 points, and my final guess a further 1! And it is, of course, of rather critical importance in terms of the overall victorjdaw1 wrote:Why?RAYC wrote:NB I am definitely owed an extra point on the guessing game!
Perhaps this is one for the apostrophe crimes thread...

Hmm. There is a tick missing by W83 / RAYC. Sorry.

By posting a copy of the original sheet on the forum you are allowing all and any to check your work. I believe that what's happened above is evidence that the process works and does not need to be fixed!jdaw1 wrote:In future, please could somebody else check my work.

Agreed. And the process of us checking online after you have posted the results provides an excellent audit trail of humiliation should you get it wrong. Everyone wins!AHB wrote:By posting a copy of the original sheet on the forum you are allowing all and any to check your work.
