1912 Niepoort Colheita (bottled 1972)
Ni12 colheita: crystal clear brown-red-red-orange, orange at rim. Very big and clean. Then heat. Oranges mid- and late-palate. A hint of lime and a long ending. Later the citrus was stronger.  JDAW.

Re: 1912 Niepoort colheita
Believed to have been bottled in 1972. Fabulous colour, a deep mahogany core and a slight green rim. Nosing of tea and lavender; with swirling releasing the typical colheita VA nose. Thick and concentrated, big palate presence with concentrated acidity and massive flavours. Really big port. Big aftertaste and a long finish. 94/100. 14-Jun-12. Pop 'n' pour.
