Transparent dark red colour with very little rim. Fruity and much chocolate on the nose. Slightly sweet, but classically aged. Already quite open. Very good supporting acidity on the palate to give the sweetness a good counterpart. Dark chocolate, raspberry and some toffee notes. Aftertaste with soft tannins and a very nice caramell touch.
I do like the old Messias Ports and they sometimes go quite cheap.
