(Bottled 2007) Very clear reddish colour with brown and orange Reflexes. Good Structure. The nose is filled with toffee, coffee and spices; alcohol nicely present. Very good complexity in the mouth with coffee and malt extract. Good aftertaste.
This is a good Colheita for a very reasonable price. I tasted it side by side with a 20y old Grahams (one of my favourite 20y old) and concerning structure, complexity and aftertaste there were no wishes left unfilled. And: a colheita is always more interesting because it wasnt made to be a pleaser, but has the vintage characteristics in the bottle. Grab one if you can.
