2007 Sandeman LBV

Traditional unfiltered LBV, bottled in 2011. Gentle, sweet perfume on the nose, lovely floral violets and bramble fruit. Soft, sweet bramble fruit on the palate, gentle tannisn support a delicious fruitiness. Firm tannic aftertaste, slowly softening to a long, slightly dry blackberry. Very tasty and with the structure to mature further. 88/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
