2011 Pintas

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

One of the winners from the vintage. This is a very impressive 2011 vintage port. Powerful blackcurrant nose that combines both attractiveness and elegance, inviting you to sniff again and again. On the palate this has both richness and density of fruit giving a full-bodied palate. The tannins and acidity are balanced and ripe and perfectly complement the fruit. The finish is long and powerful and runs through several phases. This is extremely good port. 94-96.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
