1955 Sandeman
Medium brick red, 20% opaque. Muted on the nose with some medicinal, rosemary tones. Soft entry with powerful and bitter acidity at the fore. The medicinal flavours make themselves seen on the palate, but always bitter and hot. The acidity also dominates the aftertaste and leads to a bitter finish of good length. Disappointing. 84/100. Drunk 23-Apr-14.
