One pipe made to celebrate the birth of Christopher Sandeman.
Deep red, 90% opaque. Spicy, lively nose showing great complexity with lots of fruit and Christmas spices. Soft, sweet and rounded entry. Generous fruit with good balancing acidity and a surprising amount of tannins still giving considerable structure to the palate. Gentle fruity aftertaste but a burst of acidic heat before the dry tannins give a very long finish. 89/100. Drunk 23-Apr-14.
