Just racked when bottled in 2013. Modest red colour, 90% opaque. Light nose, floral and fragrant. Modest soft fruit on the palate with powerful taninns. Sweet fruit and tannins run through the enjoyable finish. Can drink or hold. 84/100. Drunk 24-Apr-14 at BFT5.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
