Burnished copper colour, 40% opaque. Pretty alcoholic on the nose, lots of fresh herbs and lively rose hips. Nice palate, rounded flavours and texture. An elegant, sweet fruity port that has a terrific balance to it and a delightful complexity and a wonderful feminine elegance. The delicate fragrance runs through to the aftertaste and the delightful finish. 94/100.
Top Port in 2017 (so far): Graham Stone Terraces 2015 and Quinta do Vesuvio 1994
2016 Port of the year: Cockburn 1908
