2008 Fonseca's Quinta do Panascal

Very little on the nose. Good texture, medium bodied but with tannins dominating everything although there is plenty of fruit on the palate. The aftertaste is dry, fruity and with some acid burn but leads to a glorious finish. 84-86/100. 5 July 2010.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
