2008 Romaneira vintage port

Ex-cellars. Deep red, opaque. Lifted nose, although a little closed. Modest entry with good sweet fruit. The tannins are soft, the acidity is modest and the fruit dominates. Tannins show in the aftertaste and long finish. Delightful. 88/100. Drunk 13 October 2011.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
