Collected some Port while I was over for the ‘70’s tasting. Turns out one of them was an unknown I bought late last year and on close inspection of the cork it actually is a Tuke Holdsworth ‘47

On the bright side I had cases of Vega Sicilia and Villamagna (Rioja) 1973 which were excellent wines. Just one of each left

C Da Silva 1937 Single Harvest bought at auction in a mixed lot of red wine including Lynch Bages (3), Cheval Blanc and Beychevelle. Not sure how much I paid for it may even work out as F.O.C.

Anyone know anything about the last item. It says it was bottled by Churchills in 1998. It has a t stopper but I think Churchills only do unfiltered?

I don’t want to start a fight here but surely this should only be open to those who won’t make it to the pre emergency (look it up) tasting. In other words a two finger salute to those drinking older but probably not nicer Ports. Just a thought as I don’t have skin in the game

14 x Bomfim ‘13 @ £20.80 each. Did a deal with an Asda branch to take the last of their stock. Pointed out that at £32 it would sit there till next Christening! Sense prevailed

Evening all, maybe someone can help me read the names in this document (cellar list from a customer of mine). An abstemious lot as evidenced by the second photo but by then they were living in the Victorian era
