50% opacity, rich red. Cranberry and blackberry on the nose. Full, rich, powerful, syrupy concentrated blackberries and cranberries, slightly dry finish (!). Super port, which improved in the glass.

50% opacity, rich red. Sadly tained with TCA, which became more prevalent with time in the glass. The bottle on the opposite side of the table was not TCA tainted.

45% opacity, mature red-brown. Nose has dusty strawberries, white pepper. Good heft, not unlike it's brother alongside. Red fruits, finish perhaps a little more simple.

That might be an understatement. The book has mention of many tastings. I do not recall any with ten Vintages more than a century old. Just none. Scoring for Flight 0 below. A quick note on the scoring system. Votes can be given in half point increments up to a maximum of three points for any wine. Each taster has up to a maxiumum of six points to allocate across wines.
