1994 Dow

The current port on the list of the National Liberal Club. Dark red colour with a wide rim and an opaque centre. Loganberries on the nose, lots of fruit and powerful flowers. Dark fruit on entry, mixed dark cherries and flower perfume with gentle tannins. Fruity finish. A lovly port, still with lots of development ahead. 91/100. 21-May-16. Decanted 1 hour
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
