Sandeman single quinta release. No formal tasting note taken. Deep purple in colour but showing very little on the nose. Fruity but with marked tannins. Drunk alongside the Quinta da Leda 1999 vintage port, which was softer and more mature (and which I preferred). Drunk 08-Jun-16.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
