NV Confraria do Vinho do Porto White

Bottled 2014. Drunk at the Confraria do Vinho do Porto inauguration ceremony, this is the blended port made from contributions from members.

Deep lemon yellow colour, 20% opaque. Honey and lemon nose, slightly heavy. Slightly waxy texture with bitter lemon oil dominating the flavours. Good body. Harsh and hot aftertaste, with a sweet onion finish of good length. 83/100. 26-Jun-2016.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
