1995 Dalva Colheita (bottled 2014)

Drunk at Quevedo's Quinta Santa Rosario with Oscar and Claudia Quevedo and Christian Gollnick. Bottled 2014. Dark amber colour, 90% opaque. Furniture polish and blood oranges on the nose, quite deep and intense. Sweet entry bringing cocktail cherries and some quite intense burnt sugar with a touch of malt. Toffee apple aftertaste with a long, long finish that is chewy and enjoyable. 88/100. 28-Sep-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
