1978 Barros Colheita

£11 for a 50ml pour at the Lansdowne Club. Intense acidity, modest flavours mostly focused on orange and lime offset by brown sugar. Quite fierce acidity on the finish. 87/100. Drunk 07-Nov-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
