1996 Barros Colheita

£5 for a 50ml pour at the Lansdowne Club. Softer than the 1978 tasted alongside with more nutty flavours sitting in the lime and grapefruit acidity. Cloying on the finish with the sweetness and acidity clashing rather than complimenting. Despite this, still better value for money than the £11 glass of the 1978 colheita. 85/100. Drunk 07-Nov-16.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
