2011 Quinta do Crasto LBV

Red in colour with a narrow rim. Limited nose. Sweet an opulent fruit on the palate but lacking the purity and depth of the 2014 vintage ports shown at the tasting. Soft and enjoyable finish. 90/100. Drunk 07-Nov-16.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
