1974 The Port Society Colheita

Bottled 2013. From Quevedo. Warm orange in colour, 20% opaque. Soft treacle nose with rounded treacle on the palate followed by a dose of apricots combining nicely with a late palate presence of gentle coffee. The finish is lingering and soft, full of white coffee. 85/100. Drunk 13-Dec-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
