Nothing?
Have a row?

An Off-Line?
Commemorative T-Shirt?

Alan.
Hopefully not really an option.Conky wrote: Nothing?
We do that every dayConky wrote: Have a row?
I like this one.Conky wrote: An Off-Line?
We (ie Jdaw) invented the port website T-shirt idea back in 2007 with the F-Plan T-shirts so I don't think we need to repeat that one.Conky wrote: Commemorative T-Shirt?![]()
If we go with the WLBV95 Virtual Tasting theme we will each be singing in our own homes. How will we keep in tune?Conky wrote:Perfect! We can start drinking at 8pm, and we should be on the verge of singing at 2217hrs. Or at least in hot debate...
Please, and trust me on this, you don't want Julian involved with anything to do with singing. He has many talents, but singing just ain't one of them. I know more tuneful pebbles.Conky wrote:Julian will have a formula, and 14 pages of associated notes and rules, fear not.
What do we sing ?Derek T. wrote:If we go with the WLBV95 Virtual Tasting theme we will each be singing in our own homes. How will we keep in tune?Conky wrote:Perfect! We can start drinking at 8pm, and we should be on the verge of singing at 2217hrs. Or at least in hot debate...
I was going to reply to the post Ghhhhandi quoted, but then saw his entirely accurate comment. It’s bad. It is so bad that the Health & Safety Executive have asked me not to sing in public.Ghandih wrote:Please, and trust me on this, you don't want Julian involved with anything to do with singing. Isn't four thirds of one less than the root of two the method of drawing a smooth curve. So if you did four of them, you would end up with a circle???jdaw1 wrote:But I can do a formula. (Quiz: what is the connection between a circle and four thirds of one less than root two?)
How frightening is it that Conky is closest? Tell us more about the method Mr C.Conky wrote:Isn't four thirds of one less than the root of two the method of drawing a smooth curve. Are you two minutes late? The first post is labelled “Posted: 16:15 Wed 20 Jun 2007†, where my timezone is GMT-5hr, which would be 21:15 GMT or 22:15 BST.KillerB wrote:First post at 10:17PMDerek T. wrote:20th of June

Not that it helps at all with Conky’s sensible question.

can you hold off on that until I get there in October....speaking of which...Conky, I am getting my RSVP in early for your spare bed or couch. Derek likes the kitchen, so no worries about himDerek T. wrote:I think an offline is in order.
By my reckoning this forum has generated more port offlines than any other port forum on the planet so that has to be the way to cellebrate our 1st birthday?

Never have the majority of the opposition to the minority of non-supporters suggested anything other than an Off-line would be a better alternative to the situation of not having an Off-line as perhaps would be supported by those who directly opposed the view that an Offline was the preferrable alternative the the absence of such an event.KillerB wrote:Point of information:Derek T. wrote:I refer to my third answer in the third post in this thread where I gave an opinion that is consistent with that expressed by Brother KillerB in the second post in this thread and referred to in the post immediately preceding this one.KillerB wrote:I refer to my post, second in this thread, where I give my opinion within half an hour of thread starting. When has anybody not suggested that an off-line (known also as Tasting or Get-Together) is not a good idea not supported by the majority and not unsupported by the unconditional minority of non-supporters?
