Good work. But I sense there is a story behind this post. Do share...
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Re: Thursday 9 March 2017, 80s Majors Matrix
Julian - one small amendment proposed if you have a moment to make changes to these placemats, could the D and T positions be swapped. This will leave TFP ports on page 1 and SFE ports across the other pages. Thanks!jdaw1 wrote: ↑21:02 Sat 21 Jan 2017 In the first post are pictures of the current draft of the placemats.
This first draft has three pages, each of one vintage. An alternative would be 2½ A4 pages, each column being one shipper, so saving some table space. Or 15 could be squeezed on one A3, shrinking the radius to 118.978pt (from the six-on-A4 of 131.315pt). Preferences?
Edit: upon reflection, I think I prefer 2½ A4 pages, each two columns of three, one column per shipper, and so (seen as a whole) one row per vintage. Failing cogent disagreement, I’ll do that.

No problem Tony. Send it to my office. Will email the address to you.
Re: Thursday 9 March 2017, 80s Majors Matrix
I have just checked with the Boot and Flogger and can confirm that they have both my bottles (T83 and W83) in the cage, which is a relief as I was starting to worry they had gone AWOL. If any help is required earlier on the day if the tasting for decanting and setting up, I am available if/whenever required.
Re: Thursday 9 March 2017, 80s Majors Matrix
Good stuff! I've emailed the B&F to confirm that all the expected bottles are present but not had a reply yet.Doggett wrote: ↑13:04 Tue 28 Feb 2017 I have just checked with the Boot and Flogger and can confirm that they have both my bottles (T83 and W83) in the cage, which is a relief as I was starting to worry they had gone AWOL. Many thanks for the offer to help with setup, that would be much appreciated. I'm planning to get there for 3.30 or 4 on the day.

The food order has been updated. Made a guess for Christopher and have sought confirmation by email. Only JMR outstanding - Julian have you requested? Thanks.
Could someone take a look and check the food order? Ta.

F80 dropped off at the B&F last night (the T80 and Phil's F83 having been similarly deposited at the 77 tasting).
Re: Thursday 9 March 2017, 80s Majors Matrix
Mike: please check the placemats. Correct people? Bottles credited to the correct people? Neck tags and decanter labels? Anything else?
Re: Thursday 9 March 2017, 80s Majors Matrix
Thanks Julian - bottles attributed correctly. Could be a cache issue, but the version I am seeing doesn't have Derek, Dia or Phil.

OK, final two bottles delivered to the B&F and a full bottle audit completed - everything is now there bar the F85 which Derek is bringing.
