1982 Warre LBV

Bottled 1986. A beautifully scented combination of tropical spices and mature fruit. Well structured with a very pleasing density, a point on the palate and with a delicious warming length and finish. A real step up in quality from the Cockburn Special Reserve drunk previously. 91/100. Drunk 12-Jan-17.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
