2011 Graham LBV

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2015. Youthful red, 95% opaque. A harsh nose delivering a little fruit. More attractive on entry bringing sweetness with the light fruit and soft tannins. Light but flavoursome on the mid-palate with a good structure and lots of cherry fruit. Tart cherry juice on the finish, which is a good length. An impressive bottle of filtered LBV. 88/100. Drunk 21-Feb-17.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
