NV Ferreira Tawny (Dona Antonia Reserve)

Dona Antonia Reserve Tawny. Tawny red, rusty coloured. Crème caramel and raspberry coulis on the nose, so sweet smelling as to be a little cloying. Nice texture and weight, gentle flavourswith a touch of soap and a lovely red apple finish. 87/100. Drunk 04-Apr-17.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
