2004 Graham Malvedos
Deep red with no purple in the colouring, narrow rim. Gently aggressive sour fruit on the nose. Modest and delicate entry, slowly bringing fragrance and fruit until the mid-palate is well balanced with soft fruit and shows the dry tannins still in the wine. Lingering blueberries on the finish. 88/100. Drunk 04-Apr-17.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
