Quinta das Tecedeiras from Lima Smith Lda. Quinta das Tecedeiras is located along the south side of the river opposite Romaneira and comprises of 9-10 hectares of vines. Boa Vista is currently building stocks of tawny port and this year will release its first red table wine.

1600 bottles produced. A deep red colour, with almost no rim. Restrained nose of esteva and blackcurrant. An amazing palate that arrives with such fragrance and concentration of blackcurrant which oddly almost immediately dissipates. Full of fresh blackcurrants, good acidity and clean lines this delivers a grassy finish. A very pleasant young port which doesn't feel as though it has the bones for a long life - a good medium-term cellar defender at the right price. 89/100. Drunk 04-Apr-17.
