Re: 1986 Graham Malvedos
Deep red and opaque, with a small rim. An inviting fruity nose, delicate and grapey. A lovely relaxed entry, with lots of fruit and gentle tannins. Nicely balanced and elegant and a great presence. A nice chewy finish with lots of fruit. Big on the aftertaste, lively and full of chocolate. This is a lovely port with a lot of potential. Served blind this was guessed to be Warre 2003 LBV. 91/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.
2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

GM86, brought by BMHR. Dark dark dark red, 90% opaque. Nose of plums. Palate of sweet dark plums, big sweetness. Lovely, like F85 as drunk in 2011. Big and too young.
