From a bottle in the BA Galleries Lounge in Heathrow Terminal 3.
Deep ruby colour, 90% opaque. Harsh cherry nose, smelling sour and acidic. Acidity leads the entry with sour cherries dominating the fruit. Some pleasant sweet lavender on the late palate with faint tannins supporting everything. It grows pleasantly in volume on the palate. Hints of sweet black chocolate mixed with the cherries on the aftertaste and a long, very pleasant but slightly peppery finish. This is a decent port, drinking nicely now. 86/100. Tasted 12 Sep 2017.
