Deep red with a purple tone. A wonderful nose, absolutely stuffed full of fruit and flowers; a really delicious fragrance. Fruit leads the entry, fruit which is fragrant and lively, almost hiding substantial tannins. This will evolve to be an elegant and balanced mature port. 93-95/100. 24-May-17.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
