NV Morgadio da Calcada White

Made from 150 year old vines. Pale yellow. Fresh nose of sweet pear and lychee. Thick and sweet with some petrol hints on the palate; balanced, with peach and brioche flavours. A gentle, sweet and petrol hinted finish of good length. Not bad. 82/100. 24-May-17.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
