A half bottle purchased from the Lodge shop and drunk with lunch at Vinum following a tour of the new Graham's Lodge visitor's centre.
Much lighter and more mature in colour than the 2004 drunk alongside this port; brick red with a wide rim and an opaque centre. A suprisingly baked nose but showing some attractive cinammon and spices on top of the baked apple. Hollow and empty entry with lots of tannin and a baked element to the burnt rubber-band core. The burnt rubber bands show on the aftertaste. This was not a pleasant bottle, hopefully others are better. 76/100. 20-Jun-17. Decanted 1 hour.
