Tasted at the Confraria dinner. Intense, perfumed nose. Dense texture and dense in flavour. Plenty of fruit with tannins hiding behind the fruit, appearing late on the palate. The tannins give structure. Burly, with good life ahead of it. 91/100. 22-Jun-17. Decanted 12 hours.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
