1997 Pocas Junior
Drunk at the Confraria dinner. Appearing to be maturing, some bricking showing. Nosing of chocolate digestives and sous bois. Nice palate, lots of tannins and sweet fruit. Good structure and good youth. Chalky tannins drive the finish with plenty of lingering and pleasant sweet fruit. 86/100. 22-Jun-17. Decanted 12 hours.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
